This course is for individuals who wish to become a Road Safety Auditor, or those required to manage the Road Safety Audit Process.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be eligible to register with Transport Infrastructure Ireland as a Road Safety Audit Team Member.
The aim of the course is to provide delegates with an insight into how collisions happen and the general principles of road safety. Then, using a combination of interactive learning and collaborative workshops, delegates will be provided with practical (hands-on) experience in how Road Safety Audits can be undertaken effectively.
On completion of this course, attendees will:
Online Course Assessment – Laptop Required Multiple Choice Questions.
Attendees will be required to complete a multiple-choice assessment at the end of day three. The objective of the assessment will be to evaluate attendees’ knowledge against the required learning outcomes.
Each attendee will be required to bring their own laptop to complete the course assessment.

Delegates completing this course will receive a CPD certificate of attendance, recognised and endorsed by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).
With reference to TII Publication ‘Road Safety Audit – Audit Team Qualifications (GE-STY-01025)’, this course is the accredited training required for road safety engineers, road design engineers and road traffic engineers who wish to become TII Audit Team Members (ATM).
The course modules will be delivered across three consecutive days as follows:
Training will commence at 9.00am sharp every day and each module has been designed to provide between 2 – 3 hours of engaging content.
Delegate involvement will be welcomed and encouraged. Finish times are likely to fall between 4pm and 6pm depending on participation.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided each day.
Accommodation is not included as part of the training course fee. The booking and payment of accommodation will remain the responsibility of each delegate.
Hard copy course notes will be provided to all attendees.
Delegates will be required to bring their own laptop to complete an assessment at the end of the course.
